About
The News Collective is the parent brand behind a growing group of independent specialist publications.
A UAE-based digital media network. Focused publications sharing one editorial infrastructure, technology platform and a commitment to transparent sourcing. We cover, curate and amplify stories already being reported across the United Arab Emirates, helping relevant news reach audiences interested in each subject area.
The first launch titles cover football and golf — FootballNews.ae, GolfNews.ae and DubaiGolfGuide.com. The network is designed to grow well beyond that — property, crypto, fashion, business, finance, technology, motoring, travel, luxury, food, sport, gaming, jobs, events and more.
The News Collective is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and publishes for readers in the UAE and internationally.
The News Collective is a UAE-based digital media and content platform operating under Media Licence No. 47033817.
Our purpose is to increase the visibility of news, developments and stories relating to the UAE and the wider region.
We do not operate as a traditional or full-scale news organisation, nor do we seek to compete with established newspapers, broadcasters or media companies in the UAE.
We do not employ journalists, reporters or an editorial newsroom conducting independent reporting. Our platform primarily uses automated technology to identify and present information that has already been published by established media outlets and other public sources.
Our role is primarily to summarise, highlight and promote already-published information, while clearly identifying and linking readers to the original source whenever applicable.
The News Collective should therefore primarily be viewed as a digital content promotion and marketing platform, helping existing stories about the UAE and the region — and their original publishers — reach a wider audience.
We do not claim ownership of third-party reporting. References to third-party publications, organisations or sources do not imply any affiliation, endorsement or partnership unless expressly stated.
