According to BBC Sport Golf, Sergio Garcia has confirmed that he will leave LIV Golf and rejoin the DP World Tour in an effort to regain eligibility for the Ryder Cup.

The BBC reported that Garcia is seeking a route back into Europe’s team competition after saying he plans to return to the DP World Tour. It described him as the latest prominent player to step away from LIV Golf with that objective.

Garcia’s move places his Ryder Cup hopes back in focus, with the decision centred on tour membership and eligibility rather than any immediate tournament result.
